National Manufacturing Group is hiring a 2nd Shift Painter to work with fiberglass parts and components. This role focuses on surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing to meet high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fiberglass surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning for proper paint adhesion
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment
- Perform finishing work including buffing, polishing, and detailing
- Inspect painted parts to ensure quality and consistency
- Use hand and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of painting experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial setting
- Experience working with fiberglass parts strongly preferred
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques, surface prep, and finishing processes
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift and handle parts safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
