EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years old
- Maintain a valid forklift license
- safety and environmental training
Physical Demands: Must be able to climb ladders, not afraid of heights. Must be able to enter subfloor cylinder. Some exposure to lead dust and above average temperature. Significant physical labor required for cleanup. Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds.
The Oxide Mill position runs on 12 hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am. Working 3 days on and having 4 days off. This schedule does include weekend work.
The Oxide Mill Operator is responsible for producing lead oxide by milling soft lead according to quality and production requirements by following work instructions. This position is responsible for the following duties but not limited too:
- Making appropriate adjustments, repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.
- Preforms visual/audible inspection of operation, including SPC charts, equipment, gauges, etc.
- Monitor area for any oxide discharges
- Track and maintain inventory levels and proper storage of soft lead and finished oxide.
- Understand, monitor, adjust and interpret gauges and instruments to ensure the control processes are within established guidelines.
- Use of basic computer skills, including charting graphs and word processing.

Pay: $23.20 – $25.48 per hour
