National Product Manager – Gaskets Jobs in Gauteng at BMG – Bearing Man Group
Job Purpose
This role involves engaging with the BMG branch network and customers to provide product training, technical advice, and support on new and existing installations. The Product Manager will monitor the Gaskets market, conduct competitor analysis, and identify new market and product opportunities to drive business growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with the BMG branch network and customers to understand their requirements and preferences regarding
- products.
- Provide product training, technical support, and advice to internal staff and external customers
- Develop and implement strategies to grow sales and market share of BMG’s Gaskets product range.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product expansion and enhancement
- Offer technical advice and support on the selection, application, and installation of products.
- Assisting in the monitoring of deliveries, handle queries, late deliveries
- Support the sales team in promoting Gaskets products, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.
- Provide sales training, product presentations, and technical demonstrations to enhance sales effectiveness
- Track sales performance, market share, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) for Gaskets and related products.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on sales trends, market dynamics, and product performance
- International purchasing of specialised stock on various divisional articles.
- Decide on price parameters and discount parameters.
- Ensure healthy margins by reviewing monthly.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
- National Certificate NQF Level 4 / Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (Advantageous)
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in product management and sales.
