Title: Nail Technician

Purpose of the work:

It is the role of the Nail Technician to offer professional nail, hand and feet treatments in conjunction with retail advice, suited to the guests’ individual needs. As a Nail Technician you have intimate contact with the guests and should therefore display exceptional customer service and professionalism at all time.

Work Responsibilities:

1. Understand and be able to accurately analyse guests needs and offer all treatments expected of your grading level.

2. Maintain a hygienic working environment (Nail Stations and Pedi Areas) as per Franchise system requirements.

3. Advise guests on the appropriate treatment according to their needs to meet your minimum sales requirements (according to skills level).

4. Advise guests on the appropriate retail products for home care, to meet your minimum sales requirements (according to skills level).

5. Actively upsell and cross sell treatments and retail products.

6. Maintain and care for equipment and work tools entrusted to you.

7. Prepare Mani Stations and Pedi Chairs for treatment BEFORE client arrives.

8. Accurately restock your work station and equipment box when needed.

9. Regularly attend and participate in the required training modules as per the Sorbet Franchise system.

10. Always maintain a positive, friendly and empathetic relationship with all guests.

11. Assist from time to time in additional general operational work, as required by the franchisee or franchisor (i.e. leaning of communal areas, stock takes)

12. Flexibility with shift times to accommodate Talk Shows and Training needs from time to time, as required by the company.

· Accredited Mani, Pedi and Nail Care Diplomas.

· Able to accurately analyse and prescribe the correct treatments and home care products.

· Organised and systematic.
