An independent provider of aviation, tourism, and hospitality education situated in Benoni is looking for a Marketing Specialist.
Key Performance Areas
- Conduct market research and compile reports.
- Generate leads to drive learner enrolment.
- Coordinate and manage promotional events.
- Oversee general sales and enrolment processes.
- Assist with the induction of new learners.
- Deploy marketing materials, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Manage brand identity and ensure correct use of corporate identity (CI).
- Support marketing initiatives, including PR and local media relations.
- Oversee the organization’s virtual presence: monitor and update social media and website in line with approved plans.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to education and contribute to the organization’s values and ethos.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Marketing-related qualification.
- Strong time management and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Service-oriented with strong relationship-building capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Aviation and tourism industry experience advantageous.
- Strong digital marketing and website management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
