- LONG ESTABLISHED NURSING HOME FACILITY seeks mature, self-motivated MAINTENANCE WORKER
- Ø Grade 10
- Ø RESIDES IN MACASSAR
- Ø Clean criminal record
- Ø Previous experience in MAINTENANCE
- Ø Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of MAINTENANCE equipment.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
- Hours of work: MON – FRI ( possible after hours when needed, weekend call outs)
- Remove bins in duty rooms & place at refuse area
- Check that all the equipment and reservoirs are operational as per instruction manual
- MAINTAIN Ceiling, Fan, Light, Wiring, Window, Wall, Plug, Plumbing, Door, Floor, Beds, Lockers, Cupboards, etc
- Check for water leaks in toilets, bathrooms + all taps.
- Inspect roof and gutters for any blockages, moss, leaves and bird droppings
- Clean kitchen fans & lights Check that there is no water leaks Clean grease traps
- Disinfect bins and put in refuse area
- Check that all the equipment and reservoirs are operational
- Service Wheelchairs
- Inspect roof void for any damage
- Fill joint spaces between pavers Replace/repair washing linesrst and good
Pay: From R40,00 per hour
