Maintenance Lead – HOA Community
The Maintenance Lead supports the Facilities Manager in overseeing the daily maintenance and operations of the Association’s buildings, common areas, and amenities. This position plays a key role in ensuring the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, while assisting with staff supervision and contractor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all HOA common areas, amenities, and facilities
- Assist in supervising maintenance and janitorial staff, as well as third-party contractors
- Coordinate schedules to support daily operations, resident activities, and special projects
- Monitor and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Respond to homeowner service requests and assist in resolving maintenance concerns
- Oversee and support operation of community systems (security, fire alarms, irrigation, etc.)
- Order supplies and maintain inventory for maintenance and janitorial operations
- Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with HOA policies, safety standards, and applicable codes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; relevant maintenance experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience required
- Experience working in an HOA, condominium, or residential community preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills for resident interaction
- Knowledge of general maintenance, building systems, and equipment
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors
- Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency response as needed
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
