Job Summary
Looking for an experienced landscaping professional with a clean driving record and truck and trailer experience for a rapidly growing Property Maintenance business in Upper Darby, servicing Delco.
Duties
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and crew members to multiple job sites
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, hardscape construction, and tree care
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, irrigation setup, and snow plowing during seasonal needs
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks, including digging, edging, and light hardscape work.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical repairs a plus
- Support with gardening activities like soil preparation, mulching, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics
- Assist with tree trimming and removal using appropriate equipment such as excavators or chainsaws when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and minor repairs is a plus
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving large vehicles or trucks preferred
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and tree care practices
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills along with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
