Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and portion controls to maintain standards and minimize waste
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to support culinary creativity and efficiency
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing meals according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional food presentation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within restaurant or hospitality settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining environments is a plus
