Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Social Media Assistant to support our marketing and outreach activities across digital platforms.
This role is ideal for someone starting their career in digital marketing or social media, who enjoys creating content, engaging with audiences, and supporting brand growth online.
You will assist with content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and campaign support across multiple social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Assist in managing company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Schedule and publish posts using social media tools
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement
- Respond to customer enquiries and interactions
Content Creation
- Assist with creating engaging content including:
- Graphics
- Short videos
- Reels / Stories
- Posts and captions
- Work with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency
Campaign Support
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Help implement social media strategies to increase reach and engagement
- Assist with email marketing and digital outreach when required
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance and engagement metrics
- Assist with preparing monthly social media reports
- Monitor trends and competitor activity
Marketing & Outreach
- Support broader marketing initiatives
- Assist with blog posts, newsletters, or marketing materials
- Help identify potential influencers or partnership opportunities
Requirements
Essential
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
- Strong written communication skills
- Creative mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
Advantageous
- Experience with tools such as:
- Canva
- Hootsuite / Buffer / Later
- Adobe Creative Suite
- CapCut or video editing tools
- Basic understanding of digital marketing or SEO
