Introduction
An established company within the is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Controller & Client Services to support daily warehouse operations while acting as a key liaison between the warehouse, internal teams and customers.
This role focuses on accurate stock control, efficient warehouse processes and proactive communication with clients regarding orders and deliveries. The successful candidate will ensure stock accuracy, maintain an organised warehouse environment and support the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, check, bin and store incoming stock accurately.
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders according to customer requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts and stock takes.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or slow-moving items.
- Coordinate order preparation and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Provide updates to customers and internal teams regarding order status and delivery timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with returns, damaged stock and scrapping procedures.
- Ensure all documentation and stock movements are captured accurately in the system.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Code 8 Driver’s License
- Computer literacy in MS Office and ERS system (essential)
- ±2 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory management or stock control
- ±1 year experience in client liaison
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and warehouse procedures
