We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across various landscapes. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools and power tools to ensure efficient water delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components such as valves, controllers, sprinklers, and pipes to identify issues early.
- Adjust and calibrate irrigation timers and controllers for optimal watering schedules based on landscape needs.
- Perform routine lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks to support overall site health and aesthetics.
- Operate construction equipment such as excavators when necessary for major repairs or system installations.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into overall landscape design and maintenance plans.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, repairs made, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment.
- Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to understand plant water needs and landscape health.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments.
