About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced sewing machinist to join our production team for a seamless garment project. You must be able to operate specialised industrial machines independently and to production standard from day one.
Essential Machine Experience Required
Applicants must have hands-on experience on one of the following:
Position 1 – Pegasus Cylinder Arm Flatseam Machinist – Experience on a cylinder arm flatseam machine, sewing underwear gussets, leggings inseam and gusset. Must be comfortable feeding and handling tubes through a cylinder arm bed.
Position 2 – Pegasus Cylinder Arm Coverseam Binding Machinist – Experience on a cylinder arm coverseam machine used for binding operations on tubular/seamless garments. Must be able to attach binding along neck and arm openings.
Position 3 – Brother Bartack Machinist – Experience on an electronic bartack machine in a production garment environment.
Position 4 – Pegasus Overlocker Machinist – Experience on an industrial overlock machine in a production environment.
- Experienced in a production sewing environment
- Able to set up and operate their machine independently
- Detail-oriented and able to work to production targets
- Experienced with nylon fabrics
- Experienced with leggings, underwear, tank tops, sports bras.
