Immigration Paralegal – Employment-Based
Location: Cincinnati, OH | Limited WFH eligible after probationary period | Full-Time
About the Role
MU is seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused immigration paralegal to join our Cincinnati office. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume practice, takes pride in accurate and timely work, and understands that a well-run caseload is the backbone of effective client service. We value paralegals who follow established processes with consistency, communicate professionally with clients, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based green cards (PERM, I-140, NVC, I-485) and business NIVs (H-1B, L-1, TN, and related categories) under attorney supervision
- Work in a high-volume caseload with accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to firm workflows
- Draft documents and immigration petitions; respond promptly and accurately
- Support attorneys and senior paralegals by flagging issues, moving matters forward proactively, and keeping cases on track without compromising compliance
- Contribute positively to team culture and firm-building efforts

Qualifications
- Familiarity with employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa categories preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills, including the ability to prioritize projects and manage caseload efficiently
