Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator / HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department with daily administrative and operational HR functions. The successful candidate will assist with employee records, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and general HR administration to ensure smooth HR processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and documentation
  • Track employee attendance, leave, and absenteeism records
  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data
  • Support performance management administration and HR reporting
  • Handle employee queries professionally and confidentially
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour regulations
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department

Minimum Requirements (Experience & Education)

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • 2–4 years’ experience in an HR administrative or HR support role
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and labour legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HR systems or payroll software is advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
