Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces
  • Lead, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols and hotel standards
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to optimize resource use
  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations
  • Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms
  • Address guest requests or complaints promptly to resolve issues efficiently and enhance their experience

Requirements

  • Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, and custodial work
  • Experience with laundry operations and maintaining cleanliness standards for linens and uniforms
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Knowledge of hotel industry standards related to hospitality, sanitation, safety protocols, and customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
