Housekeeper Jobs in Williston, VT at SD Ireland Companies
S.D. Ireland Properties is seeking a dedicated, detail-obsessed Housekeeper/Cleaner to keep our residential communities in Burlington, South Burlington & Colchester looking their absolute best — inside and out. This isn’t just a “wipe and go” cleaning job. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, with that old-fashioned, no-shortcuts approach your grandmother would approve of.
What You’ll Do:
- Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor residential property spaces, including common areas, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and outdoor gathering areas.
- Perform unit turns between move-outs and move-ins to the highest standard.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks (scrubbing, polishing, detailed sanitizing) beyond standard maintenance.
- Maintain seasonal cleanliness of exterior spaces — sweeping, power washing, tidying entrances, etc.
- Work independently while managing your schedule to meet deadlines.
- Assist with weekend cleaning needs as needed once trained and confident in the role.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven cleaning experience, ideally with deep cleaning know-how (you know the difference between “surface clean” and “truly clean”).
- Strong work ethic with zero tolerance for shortcuts — no “quick sprays and done.”
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
- Dependable and trustworthy — our residents count on you.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 40 lbs, and be on your feet for most of the day.
- Must have reliable transportation — travel between properties may be required.
- Weekend availability when needed.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, primarily on weekdays, with occasional weekend shifts.
- Competitive pay based on experience, plus benefits.
