Job Overview: We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Coordinator to ensure truck turnarounds meet our company’s requirements. You will inspect workflows, spot mistakes, and help the team fix errors.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Check Work: Inspect completed tasks and vehicle turnarounds to ensure no steps were skipped.
- Enforce Rules: Make sure all staff are following the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Write Reports: Keep clean logs of all inspections, checklist results, and errors found.
- Fix Problems: Workflow investigation, trace workflow steps and work with management to fix it permanently.
- Improve Systems: Identify gaps in daily operational tasks and make improvements
Requirements:
- Experience as a quality inspector, coordinator or process auditor – heavy motor vehicle background.
- High attention to detail and a very organized way of working.
- Good computer skills for logging data into spreadsheets and tracking systems.
- Strong communication skills – communicate with workshop on their performance outcomes.
- Qualification in logistics management or related field.
- 5-10 years’ experience in heavy motor vehicle industry
Pay: R18 000,00 – R20 000,00 per month
