Head of Sales (Retail & Wholesale) Maison Ciao

Position Overview:

Maison Ciao is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven, and commercially minded Head of Sales (Retail & Wholesale) to lead revenue growth across both direct-to-consumer bridal sales and wholesale distribution channels.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s retail and wholesale sales strategy, driving bridal consultations and client conversions, building relationships with buyers and retail partners, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate has experience in luxury fashion, bridal, contemporary fashion, or premium retail environments and possesses a strong understanding of both consumer sales and wholesale account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Lead and oversee all direct-to-consumer sales initiatives
  • Conduct bridal consultations and guide clients through the purchasing journey
  • Develop strategies to improve lead conversion and client acquisition
  • Manage inquiry follow-up processes and client relationship management
  • Build and maintain a high-touch luxury sales experience
  • Identify opportunities for upselling accessories, veils, second looks, and customizations
  • Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to increase revenue

Wholesale Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and secure new wholesale accounts and retail partnerships
  • Build relationships with bridal boutiques, luxury retailers, and specialty stores
  • Represent Maison Ciao during market appointments, trade shows, trunk shows, and fashion week events
  • Conduct buyer presentations and product walkthroughs
  • Negotiate wholesale terms and manage account relationships
  • Support wholesale pricing, assortment planning, and account strategy
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale partners and identify opportunities for account growth

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Establish sales targets and revenue goals across retail and wholesale channels
  • Monitor key sales metrics, conversion rates, and customer acquisition performance
  • Identify opportunities to expand into new markets and distribution channels
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, partnerships, and strategic opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations based on sales performance and market feedback

Market Intelligence & Commercial Insights

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
  • Gather customer and buyer feedback to support product development and merchandising decisions
  • Provide insights regarding product demand, purchasing patterns, and market opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product & Production on assortment planning and collection feedback

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Founder, Head of Product & Production, and Head of Operations & Client Experience
  • Support collection launches, fashion week initiatives, trunk shows, and special events
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and product teams
  • Contribute to building scalable sales systems and processes as the company grows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in luxury fashion, bridal, contemporary fashion, premium retail, or wholesale sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Experience managing wholesale accounts and retail partnerships preferred
  • Strong understanding of luxury client service and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
  • Willingness to travel for appointments, trunk shows, market appointments, and industry events
