Group Risk Manager

Senwes is looking for a Group Risk Manager to define, embed and continuously evolve the Group’s risk philosophy, appetite and strategic risk framework, enabling informed decision-making, sustainable value creation and organisational resilience. The role will provide strategic risk intelligence, oversee financial risk mitigation strategies, and ensure risk management is integrated into business planning, capital allocation and executive decision-making across the Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the Group’s risk philosophy, appetite and intelligence framework.
• Risk Hedging Strategy and financial risk management.
• Embed enterprise-wide risk management practices.
• Provide executive and board-level risk reporting that translates complex risk exposures into clear strategic and financial insights to support effective governance and decision-making.
• Oversee the Group’s insurance programme and provide strategic risk advisory services.

Qualifications and experience: Relevant degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics or a related field. A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous. Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Risk Management, Business Analysis, Audit, Financial Management and/or Accounting.

Skills: Strategic risk management and enterprise risk frameworks. Financial risk management and hedging strategies. Risk research, analysis and intelligence. Corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Data analysis and risk reporting.
