Job Overview
We are seeking an Installation/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in garage door service and installation, and possess mechanical knowledge. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent work habits and have a desire to make a difference, this position is for you.
Duties
- Garage Door installation and service work will be performed at customer location (both residential and commercial job sites)
- Repairs to malfunctioning garage doors, including but not limited to: replacing springs, cables, rollers, and hinges
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal door operation and safety compliance
- Utilize hand tools and power tools
- Provide technical support as needed
- Offer Solutions to customers for repair or replacement
- Complete necessary paperwork based on work performed on job site
Requirements
- Prior experience in garage door system installation (3+ years)
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and, climb ladders
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when installing or replacing large door sections or equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Must be able to lift between 75-100 lbs and work in extreme heat and cold
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
