– Monitor patient medication therapy for safety and efficacy
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
– Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and records
– Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

– Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
– Proficient in utilizing aseptic technique in sterile compounding
– Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate pharmaceutical care
– Experience working in a hospital or emergency room setting preferred
– Completion of a pharmacy residency program is desirable
– Familiarity with utilization management principles and practices
– Knowledge of ICU medication management protocols
