French Translator | Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a skilled Contract French (Canadian) Translator & Customer Messaging Specialist to support an upcoming Canadian tour. This role will focus on translating English signage, materials, and customerfacing communications into culturally accurate French (Canadian), while also helping shape messaging that resonates with Frenchspeaking audiences in Canada.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Québec French language nuances, tone, and regional preferences, along with experience in localization and customerfacing communication.
• Translate tour signage, merchandise signage, safety materials, and customerfacing documents from English to French (Canadian)
• Ensure all translations are culturally appropriate, regionally accurate, and aligned with Québec language standards
• Adapt messaging—not just translate—to ensure clarity, tone, and audience relevance
• Proofread and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency
• FrenchCanadian Messaging Development
• Partner with internal teams to create customerfacing messaging tailored to Frenchspeaking Canadian audiences
• Provide guidance on tone, phrasing, and terminology to ensure an authentic and localized experience
• Review marketing, signage, and announcements to ensure alignment with FrenchCanadian expectations

Tour Support

• Assist in preparing materials ahead of tour stops in Frenchspeaking regions
• Be available for quickturn translations and updates during active tour periods
