As a trainee, you will gain exposure to the dynamic world of forensics through a blend of formal learning and practical, on-the-job experience, enabling you to develop and strengthen your skills in areas such as:

- Expert accounting and dispute resolution
Responsibilities for this role
- Assisting with the compilation of draft forensic reports and appendices
- Analysing financial and other data
- Collecting, documenting and analysing relevant evidence
- Assessing economic crime (i.e. fraud and corruption)
- Assisting with conducting forensic interviews
- Transcribing interview notes
- Ensuring accurate document management and record keeping for investigative matters
- Photocopying, indexing and paginating case files for investigative matters
- Assisting in business development (proposals and risk management)
- Assisting in research-related tasks
- Maintaining a positive view of PwC’s culture, values and reputation
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in one of the following:
- BCom Forensic Accounting (Honours)
- BCom Accounting (Honours) – Non-CA route
- BCom Internal Audit (Honours)
- BA Forensic Science and Technology (Honours)
- LLB Law
- BCom Law (Honours)
- BA Criminology (Honours)
- BCom Risk Management (Honours)
- BCom Economics/Econometrics (Honours)
Knowledge and skills:
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Building networks and good relationships
- Problem solving
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Willing to travel and to work long hours
- Proficiency in Power BI (desired)
- Proficiency in Alteryx (desired)
