About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in construction contracts management
- Professional registration with SACPCMP (South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions) or ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JBCC)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage construction contracts from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks
- Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Monitor project performance, costs, and timelines
- Provide contractual guidance to project teams
