Job Overview
We are looking for a Construction Foreman who will be responsible for overseeing each production job to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Leads production employees on his/her crew. Supports the company’s management, purpose, mission, and values.
Responsibilities
- Before leaving for the job: Review job specs, gather required materials, and load the truck.
- Upon arriving at the job site: Evaluate site conditions, plan workflow, and adjust as needed.
- On-Site Leadership: Assign tasks, train and motivate the team, ensure safety and quality, track hours, troubleshoot, and communicate job progress and changes.
- Customer & Team Communication: Maintain clear communication with customers and team members, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with job requirements.
- Administrative Duties: Complete and upload accurate paperwork to the company’s CRM.
Other:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Drives for the company in a safe manner.
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
- Perform other duties as needed for the success of our team
- Is an ambassador for the Company’s culture and purpose, and persistently strives and achieves a remarkable experience for our customers
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Production Foreman within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficient in using CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving record to drive on behalf of the company.
- Ability to Ascend/Descend/Move self to lower position to inspect items under, on, or close to floor level.· Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including kneel and crawl and exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly or to move objects with unrestricted lifting ability.
