Supply Chain Demand Planner (Africa)

This role is critical in ensuring the flow of spare parts, and consumables required to maximize equipment availability within the Normet Fleet. The Demand Planner will forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency with Normet Africa Operations.

Core Competencies:

• Expert Level IT skills-Data analytics and reporting
• Good English communication skills (both oral and written)
• Customer focused, with a sound understanding of logistics factors affecting spare parts replenishment.
• Practical and theoretical understanding of order management, internal processes and global logistics.
• Ability to perform demand planning from mobile equipment maintenance schedules, past demand and mining production cycles.
• ERP Skills-ability to create system reports that operate
• Ability to work under pressure and produce tangible results.
• Attention to detail, and ability to measure own work and report transparently (forecast accuracy).

Education:

M inimum Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain demand planning

Other:

• Knowledge of MS AX, D365 Evolution and Pastel software or equivalent
• Microsoft AX / MS D365
• MS Office Suite-expert level Excel

Power BI Skills-report creation, and maintenance
