Overview

The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the club, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and an outstanding dining experience for members and their guests.

The role involves managing restaurant operations, bars, private dining, events, and service teams while maintaining the exclusivity, quality, and personalised service expected in a 5-star private wealth club.

The successful candidate will lead the F&B team, ensure the highest service standards, manage costs and inventory, and drive revenue growth through innovative dining experiences and member engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the club.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of 5-star service standards across all dining areas.
  • Monitor service quality, presentation standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular floor supervision during service periods.

Member Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure members and guests receive exceptional, personalised service.
  • Handle member feedback, concerns, and service recovery where necessary.
  • Maintain the luxury hospitality standards expected in a private members club environment.

Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Lead, train, and mentor the food and beverage service team including supervisors, wait staff, and bar staff.
  • Manage staff scheduling and operational staffing levels.
  • Conduct staff training on service standards, product knowledge, and club etiquette.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.

Revenue Growth & Sales

  • Implement strategies to maximise food and beverage revenue.
  • Promote special dining events, wine evenings, and member experiences.
  • Work with the culinary team to introduce innovative menu offerings.

Cost Control & Financial Management

  • Monitor food and beverage costs and implement cost-control measures.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure minimal wastage.
  • Assist with budget planning and financial reporting.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all F&B outlets.
  • Ensure all service procedures follow club policies and luxury hospitality standards.

Events & Private Dining

  • Oversee private events, corporate functions, and member functions hosted at the club.
  • Coordinate with the events team to deliver seamless event service.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery for high-profile members and VIP guests.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience in food & beverage management within luxury hospitality or private clubs
  • Experience managing fine dining or high-end restaurant operations
  • Strong operational leadership experience
