Position: Floral Design & Sales Associate
Location: 25 Thompson St, Winchester, MA
Responsibilities:
– Create daily floral and planted arrangements for delivery and sales floor products like bouquets and arrangements.
-Process incoming fresh flowers, greenery and plants
-Create hand tied Bouquets for sale in store and per client request
-Create floral and planted arrangements for delivery, pickup orders and in store sales
-Create products from our website for order fulfillment and in store product
-Create beautiful displays in store with fresh flower products and all store merchandise
-Assist customers with product selections in store and over the phone.
-Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting clients with warmth and professionalism in store and over the phone.
– Utilize excellent communication skills to understand and fulfill customer needs and preferences.
– Drive sales by providing expert advice on floral, plant and home decor selections and suggesting suitable arrangements for various occasions.
– Demonstrate creativity in assisting customers with custom floral designs tailored to their individual tastes and preferences.
– Maintain a polished and inviting retail environment, including arranging flower displays, plant care, store merchandising and ensuring cleanliness of shop and studio design space.
– Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system in person and over the phone.
– Handle phone calls and email inquiries promptly and courteously.
Requirements:
– Professional Floral Design experience, minimum 3 years
-Proven experience in customer services sales with a strong emphasis on retail sales.
– Ability to effectively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
– Available to work regular full time 5 day per week schedule, including Saturday rotations with Monday – Saturday store hours and major holidays.
– Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
