Flexo Press Operator Jobs in Deer Park, NY at PLPS (Overnight Labels)
We are seeking a qualified Flexo Press Operator to set up, adjust, maintain, and operate our printing press.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
– Review job orders to make necessary adjustments to the printing machine.
– Install components and supplies, such as ink rollers and printing plates, according to job specifications.
– Test inks and paints on the printing surface to ensure their suitability.
– Oversee the production of printed materials, including the printing and racking processes, to ensure they meet specifications and are completed on schedule.
– Perform maintenance tasks on the printing machine.
– Troubleshoot equipment issues, including addressing abnormal noises. – Clean the printing press and its peripherals.
Required Skills and Experience:
– Proficient in reading and understanding English.
– Basic math skills.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
