Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems using blueprint reading, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure precise placement and configuration.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems to verify functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, tube bending tools, and soldering techniques to assemble piping networks efficiently.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and HVAC plans to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Rigging and lifting heavy components safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing environments to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high quality standards.
Experience
- Ohio Sprinkler License
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related construction trades involving pipe installation, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, pipe threading, soldering, and tube bending with a solid understanding of welding safety practices.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, mechanical knowledge, and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities with knowledge of rigging and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to piping systems and fire protection equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and system layouts efficiently.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for fire suppression systems along with pipeline installation experience is a plus.
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
