Financial Statements Compiler
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Statements Compiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing annual financial statements, reviewing accounting records, processing year-end adjustments, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual financial statements for a variety of clients.
- Process year-end journals and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS for SMEs and relevant legislation.
- Liaise with clients to obtain supporting information and resolve queries.
- Assist with management accounts and other accounting-related functions as required.
Requirements:
- Relevant accounting qualification or studying towards one.
- Experience in compiling financial statements.
- Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, CaseWare, or similar accounting software will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
