The Role
We are looking for a sharp, well-connected sales professional based in Johannesburg to grow our brand presence in Gauteng.
If you know the hair industry, love being on the road and can close deals — with a primary focus on Philip Martin’s and Sinep — this opportunity is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow a client base of salons, barbershops and beauty professionals across Johannesburg
- Conduct in-salon product demonstrations and technical training
- Attend roadshows, workshops and trade events
- Achieve monthly sales targets and report on pipeline activity weekly
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends
- Maintain accurate CRM records and submit regular reports
- Act as a brand ambassador for all Rapple product ranges
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in external sales — ideally in the hair, beauty or salon industry
- Strong knowledge of hair products, treatments or salon operations
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Proficient with basic admin, CRM tools and reporting
Screening Questions
Applicants will be required to answer the following screening questions:
- Do you have a valid driver’s license?
- How many years of work experience do you have with hair styling?
- How many years of sales experience do you currently have?
- Do you have your own reliable vehicle?
- Do you have experience in the hair/beauty industry?
- Are you able to provide proof of previous sales performance?
Package
- Basic Salary: R15,000 per month (Gross)
- Phone Allowance: R500 per month
- Vehicle Allowance: R2,000 per month
- Fuel for business use covered
- Laptop provided
- Commission Structure:
- 7.5% on GP (consumables)
- 3% on GP (furniture & electronics)
- Commission payable once 1.5x CTC is achieved
- December bonus (discretionary, up to 1 month’s salary)
- Momentum Health4Me after 3 months (permanent employees)
- Minimum monthly sales target: R250,000 within 6 months
