Job Title: Laundry Shirt Presser (Press Operator)
Job Summary: Perform pressing and finishing of shirts and similar garments to company quality and productivity standards. Ensure garments are wrinkle-free, correctly pressed, inspected and prepared for packaging or customer pickup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate steam irons, pressing machines, and finishing equipment to press shirts to specified standards.
- Maintain production area cleanliness and organization; manage pressing supplies (starch, covers, pads).
- Follow safety procedures for handling hot equipment, steam, and chemicals.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets; report equipment malfunctions to maintenance.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Able to work at a steady pace in a production environment.
- Basic communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Teamwork and reliability.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 25 lbs depending on role).
- Tolerance for heat and humidity from steam equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Typically shift-based day dry-cleaning facility.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage – $15 /hr

Base Pay: From $15.00 per hour
