Director of Boarding Jobs in Cape Town at American International School of Cape Town

The Director of Boarding is responsible for the leadership, development, and day-to-day management of AISCT’s boarding program. As the school launches a small boarding program of approximately 8–10 students, this role will establish the culture, systems, routines, and standards needed for a safe, caring, well-supervised, and high-quality residential experience. The Director of Boarding will create a warm, structured, and inclusive boarding environment that supports student well-being, personal growth, academic success, and positive connection to the life of the school. The Director will oversee residential operations, supervise boarding staff, communicate closely with families, and ensure that the boarding program develops in alignment with school expectations and applicable South African legal and safeguarding frameworks. This is a founding leadership role for a growing program and requires a person who is highly relational, organized, calm under pressure, and able to build strong systems from the ground up.

Pay: R20 000,00 – R25 000,00 per month
