Digital Designer Jobs in Diep River at Reader’s Warehouse
A position has become available at Topline Book Distributors(Pty) Ltd and Readers Warehouse for a Digital Designer. This position will report to the E Commerce Director.
Readers Warehouse Website
- Photo’s taken as well as digital editing of images taken for the Readers Warehouse Website
- Maintaining and updating website designs for current website and also the new website that is currently under construction so that it’s ready for launch.
- Creating our weekly newsletter (we usually aim at getting 2 newsletters out every week and other marketing materials.
- Create marketing banners to be featured on the website as needed.
Stores
- Artwork for instore posters as well as any other design work that is needed instore.
- Create marketing materials for the stores social media pages.
Partners
- Photograph product offerings for Partners
- Digital editing of images taken for ODO, LOOT
Social Media
- Shooting videos and editing videos of our latest products for our Youtube channel
- Creating marketing banners for social media profiles, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
- Create Facebook offering banners for the shop section.
- Creating weekly competition and deals artwork
Ad hoc marketing and public relations initiatives
- Responsible for conceptualizing and completion for all design work for pamphlets and vouchers.
- Work on revamp of School Library design for marketing.
- Will be working on TFG & Bid or Buy marketing banners.
- Create audio snippets for audio books to featured on website.
- Set and create PowerPoint presentations when needed.
- Data capturing
Minimum Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design or related field
- 3 – 4 years experience in Graphic Design
- Computer Literate
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques
- Organizational and time management skill
- Good understanding of visual design principles
- Proven digital content skills
