Job Description
Purpose:
To ensure the delivery of Premier products is made on time and in full every day. Incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing the co-ordination of all the functions on site including staff management and client liaison. Ensure growth of bread sales in the informal market and that delivery of bread is made on time and in full. To manage a depot sales teams’ performance to grow profitable sales for their area in line with site sales strategic plans and targets.
Qualification Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma in Warehousing Logistics
- Computer literacy – Excel, MS Word
Experience Requirements
3 – 5 years FMCG / Warehousing experience

- To develop and propose site volume targets and plans to the site and regional manager in line with the national plans and targets.
- To implement, monitor, report and review sales delivery against agreed targets (volume and margin)
- To implement, monitor and report on the roll out of corporate initiatives such as route viability, DRM, Pricing etc through relevant cross functional Invocoms and reports
- To manage the performance of direct reports through preparation and facilitation of weekly site sales team Invocoms.
- To support compliance to internal process, practice and SOP’s via monthly and quarterly auditing, collation and presentation of sales pack info to the relevant managers.
- To schedule and coordinate the on-site sales pack audit and present findings to the regional sales manager and relevant bakery/depot managers in order to agree corrective action and continuous improvement
- To manage and motivate high performance teams through the decisive management of non- performance and quick recognition of good performance in line with company process and procedures and provide training, coaching and mentoring as needed
- To manage third party suppliers or outsourced service providers to ensure good execution and customer services to our customers.
