Summary:
The maintenance custodian position performs custodial work in offices, warehouse, industrial areas and other building interiors and exteriors. This position also performs entry of work order tickets into Maintenance system and completes requisitions for ordering maintenance cleaning supplies. Work to be performed on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
Essential Functions:
- Vacuum carpets and mats in front office area and conference room.
- Sweep and mop floors in front entrance hall, cafeteria, all bathrooms, breakroom, locker room, and upstairs hallway.
- Clean refrigerator, tables (inside and outside), microwaves, counters, sinks, and replenish supplies in break areas.
- Thoroughly clean all bathroom toilets & fixtures, disinfect door handles, clean mirrors, and replenish all supplies in all bathrooms.
- Empty garbage in all areas including front office, breakroom (inside and outside), locker room, bathrooms, conference room and training room.
- Perform regular snow removal during winter months from the front sidewalk; outdoor break area and sidewalk, east side receiving doors, shipping sidewalk, and all other emergency doors.
- Perform weekly inventory counts of janitorial supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Using powered sweeper and or scrubber, sweep and clean shop aisles in Modules A/B/C/D. Clean and dry equipment after each use. Perform preventative maintenance to both units.
- Monthly clean aisle mirrors and ice machine.
- Cleans windows as necessary.
- All other duties as may be assigned.

- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- Ability to observe all safety regulations including the wearing of eye and hearing protection, ladder safety and all other safety regulations.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in either performing cleaning in a manufacturing environment or performing commercial cleaning.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
