Construction Supervisor Jobs in Pretoria West at Imvusa Projects
We are looking for a well-groomed person with overall supervision of construction site/ maintenance activities to ensure a high-quality standard who meets and exceeds deadlines, you must be enthusiastic, organized and energetic to oversee all aspects of building project and managing work staff.
Imperative – to be responsible for ensuring all objectives, building Standards and Health & Safety requirements and build quality are met and exceeded.
Your key responsibilities include the following:
1. Ensuring equipment and tools maintained and looked after and recorded, repairs to be done immediately as we have a Zero Tolerance for to tools/equipment not repaired/maintained.
2. Ensuring Material required is managed/controlled and available on-site for that intended task.
3.You need to be a “JACK OF ALL TRADES” A GOOD ARTISAN knows how to work and handle power tools and small plant.
6. You must be able to run, manage and control safety onsite – retail operartions SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.
- Managing and motivating work team to get best results and ensure they work according to PTW permit to work on fuel retail sites.
General maintenance activities included but not limited to the following:
- WAH – Steel structures and buildings, roof sheeting, flashings and repairs to steel structures and gutter systems, painting and waterproofing
- Building repairs, drainage systems, sanitaryware and plumbing, forecourt work includes paving, kerbstones, setting out and correcting levels, retaining walls, concrete works, foundations etc.
- Scaffolding – WAH experience is required with valid certificates.
- A valid drivers licence with no restrictions/demerits.
- Ensuring attendance and Safety file is kept up-to-date.
- Sourcing material & ensuring contractors submit quotes
- Ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, and all other regulations.
- Outstanding Liaison with clients on site.
- All project related administration, including but not limited to site diaries, time documents and purchase documents, safety files and all check lists.
Construction Foreman Requirements:
- 5+ years of construction site management/foreman experience. = Fuel Industry related
- Must be experienced in site safety practices to ensure work is done as per standard.
- must be computer literate and know how to work in Microsoft office – Word, Excel and how to interprit drawings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R12 000,00 – R18 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pretoria West, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
