TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform diving tasks as assigned by the Assistant Manager;
- Provide general assistance to the Dive Supervisor during operations;
- Assist with data collection, compilation, and reporting related to diving activities;
- Ensure all infrastructure and equipment for dive operations are well-maintained and in good working condition;
- Conduct daily checks as outlined in the job description;
- Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with precision;
- Handle general administrative tasks associated with diving operations;
- Support compliance with Health and Safety standards across all areas.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
· Relevant qualification as commercial Diver minimum Class IV;
· Valid Driver’s License;
· Supervisory ticket will be advantageous;
· Experience in an Aquaculture or Agricultural environment will be beneficial.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must have own transport for commuting to and from work;
· Strong oral and written communication skills;
· Excellent communication, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities;
· Sober habits and a results-oriented mindset;
· No criminal record;
· Willingness to work overtime as required;
· Ability to continuously meet production targets;
· Candidate should be willing to relocate to rural areas near our operations in the Northern Cape.
