Jeremiah’s Pick Coffee Co. is a vertically integrated San Francisco roastery with a growing network of wholesale accounts, café partners, and corporate clients across the Bay Area. We’re building out a dedicated service division — and we need a technician who treats every site visit as a chance to raise the standard. You’ll own the technical relationship with our accounts. That means diagnosis, repair, calibration, and the kind of consistent, expert presence that turns one-time calls into long-term contracts.
The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled, field-driven Commercial Coffee Equipment Technician to own the technical relationship with our accounts. That means expert diagnosis, repair, calibration, and the kind of consistent, trustworthy presence that turns one-time calls into long-term service contracts. You’ll be dispatched in a company truck, managing your own Bay Area schedule, and serving as the face clients trust on every visit.
What you will do:
Service & Repair
- Diagnose and repair commercial espresso machines across all major OEMs
- Service grinders, batch brewers, and related brewing systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Maintain clean, accurate service logs for every call
Installations
- Install and commission espresso machines, grinders, and brew systems at client locations
- Configure equipment to optimal pressure, temperature, and flow calibration
- Coordinate plumbing and electrical setup with site teams
- Train client staff on proper operation and daily care
Scheduled Maintenance
- Conduct preventive maintenance visits across a growing book of recurring accounts
- Maximize uptime and consistency for every client you serve
- Build trusted, lasting relationships with the operators you work with
Beyond the Wrench
- Represent Jeremiah’s Pick as a premium, knowledgeable partner on every visit
- Naturally identify accounts that could benefit from a service contract
- Help grow the division through reputation and referrals — not cold calls
Equipment you’ll work on:
La Marzocco (Linea, KB90, Strada), La Cimbali (M100, S30, S20, S15), Nuova Simonelli (Aurelia, Mythos), Slayer, Mahlkönig, Mazzer, Eureka, Fetco, and other commercial batch systems.
What we are looking for:
Required:
- Hands-on experience servicing commercial espresso machines and brewing equipment
- Solid understanding of pressure systems, temperature control, and mechanical/electrical diagnostics
- Comfortable working independently across multiple brands and configurations
- Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing a full Bay Area field schedule
- Professional presence and strong communication skills — you’re the face clients trust
- Clean driving record
Preferred:
- Prior dedicated coffee equipment technician experience
- Familiarity with super-automatic platforms (La Cimbali S30/S20/S15, Schaerer, Franke)
- Background in specialty coffee or café operations- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
- SCA certification or OEM training (La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, etc.)
- Experience using diagnostic software and service tablets

Growth Path

Pay: $29.00 – $36.00 per hour
