Due to continued growth, our medical practice is currently interviewing qualified, full-time LPN candidates to work in our Lee’s Summit, Missouri practice location.
Our LPN will efficiently monitor the daily patient schedule and flow of patients by facilitating patient exams and applicable treatment plans. Our openings are full-time with Monday through Friday workdays and 8:00am to 4:30pm work hours.
The ideal candidate will participate and contribute to patient’s care through preparing patients for office visits, including updating the patient’s electronic medical record, organizing clinic and/or exam rooms, assisting physicians, adequately monitoring office and clinic inventory supplies, assisting nurses and other team members as necessary.
What our Lee’s Summit LPN will do:
- Accurately obtain and electronically update patient’s health record to include their vitals, height, weight, family history, social history, medications and applicable screening procedures.
- Will greet, room, and confirm patient’s reason for their appointment .
- Obtains pre-certification for applicable patient procedures, tests, and medications.
- Perform triage and assist in processing patient insurance forms.
- Will consistently perform clinical, technical and professional job competencies.
- Transmit patient prescriptions and refills to pharmacies through E-Script, phone or email.
- Stock and manage examination room inventory supplies, discard expired supplies, and maintain examination room cleanliness.
- Maintain drug and equipment log usage for applicable patient.
- Perform procedures as directed by the nurse, mid level provider or physician.
