CNC Machine Operator – Mascots SA
Mascots SA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC cutting machinery used in the manufacture of custom mascot costumes and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
- Prepare materials and load designs for cutting.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Identify and report any machine faults or production issues.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and output targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery preferred.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Experience with CNC cutting machines used for foam, or similar materials will be advantageous.
