Our Company is seeking to employee a Cleaning Contracts Manager.
A Cleaning Contract Manager ensures cleaning operations across multiple sites run efficiently and profitably. Key requirements include 3 to 5 years of contract management experience, a valid driver’s license, and deep knowledge of hygiene standards, SLAs, budgeting, and South African labour relations.
Core Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in facilities, hospitality, or contract cleaning services.
- Education: A Matric (Grade 12) certificate is essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, facilities management, or NQF Level 3 certifications are highly advantageous.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with OHS, HACCP standards, ISO9001:2015, and local health and safety regulations.
- Mobility: A valid South African driver’s license.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, client-facing abilities, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & SLAs: Conducting regular site inspections to ensure cleaning teams meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics and hygiene standards.
- Client Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and contract retention.
- Human Resources: Managing cleaning teams, handling recruitment, scheduling, performance appraisals, and addressing grievances in line with South African labour legislation.
- Financial Management: Overseeing contract budgets, managing payroll, controlling cleaning material stock levels, and reducing operational costs.
