1. Cashier
Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Scan goods and ensure correct pricing.
- Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges according to store policy.
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
- Assist customers with inquiries and basic product information.
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be legally allowed to work in South Africa.
- Shelf Packer / Merchandiser
Responsibilities:
- Pack and arrange products neatly on shelves.
- Ensure shelves are always fully stocked and well organized.
- Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness in aisles and storage areas.
- Help customers find products when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous retail or supermarket experience is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to lift boxes or stock goods.
- Good attention to detail.
- Responsible, hardworking, and punctual.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Must be legally allowed to work in South Africa.
