Main Responsibilities
Production Coordination
- Plan and manage workshop production schedules
- Coordinate manufacturing timelines with installation dates
- Ensure jobs move through the workshop efficiently and on time
- Track project progress and identify bottlenecks early
- Work closely with designers, installers, suppliers, and management
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Order materials, hardware, and consumables
- Follow up with suppliers regarding lead times and deliveries
- Ensure all required materials are available before production starts
- Manage stock levels and workshop supply requirements
Site & Installation Coordination
- Schedule installation teams and deliveries
- Ensure site readiness before installations
- Coordinate snag lists and final project completion
- Assist with problem-solving during installations
Quality Control
- Ensure work meets DB Studio quality standards
- Monitor workmanship and finishing quality
- Implement and maintain quality control systems
- Reduce rework, mistakes, and material waste
Operations & Systems
- Improve workflow and operational efficiency
- Help implement systems, checklists, and processes
- Maintain project files, production records, and schedules
- Support management with planning and reporting
Requirements
- Experience in cabinetry, shopfitting, joinery, construction, or manufacturing
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication and leadership ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Computer literacy (Excel, Google Workspace, job tracking systems beneficial)
- Driver’s license essential
