Business Development Researcher
Location: Cape Town (Office-based)
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: R10,000 – R15,000 per month
We’re looking for a detail-focused individual to support our growth by researching and identifying new business opportunities within the property space.
This role is centred on finding and qualifying leads, keeping information organised, and supporting the sales team with a steady flow of opportunities. It suits someone who is curious, persistent, and comfortable working with data and online tools.
What you’ll be doing
- Researching potential clients, property owners, and decision-makers
- Using online platforms and databases to find new opportunities
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on the internal system
- Identifying gaps or new prospects within the CRM
- Reaching out to contacts and managing basic follow-ups
- Working alongside the sales team to support pipeline activity
- Improving research methods over time to increase efficiency
What we’re looking for
- Strong research and information-gathering ability
- Comfortable using platforms like LinkedIn and other online tools
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data
- Confident communicator, especially when speaking to new contacts
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Previous experience in lead generation or research is beneficial
- Own laptop and reliable transport
