LOCATION: NORFOLK, NE

JOB TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK JOB SUMMARY:

· Responsible for helping the client in filling out necessary forms for program assistance.

· Responsible for screening of Immunization clients which includes entering data into the immunization database and updating it as necessary.

· Assess household gross income and number in household. Explain the proper use of eWIC benefits and ID cards to participants and any other correspondence in a professional manner.

· Aid in translating when necessary for non-English speaking/reading participants.

· Refer clients as needed or requested. Make reminder appointment calls daily.

· Assist with program organization, including setting up program binders and keeping them updated.

· Quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory.

· Submit reports and summaries by deadlines or as requested.

· Travel to assigned clinics as requested.

· Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.

· Routine cleaning of work site.

· Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Basic skills in word processing, email, and data entry. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK WAGE & BENEFITS: The starting wage is $18.50 per hour plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance.
