Purpose of the Role
To provide strategic and operational insights across business functions through the design, development, optimisation, and governance of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
The role requires a senior professional who can bridge Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Visualisation, and Stakeholder Engagement, while driving improvements in reporting delivery cadence and overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Power BI reporting and analytics initiatives across multiple business areas.

Drive continuous improvement of dashboard usability, visual design, adoption, and performance.

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.

Build and optimise semantic models, datasets, and reporting frameworks.

Design and support modern data engineering pipelines and data integration processes.

Implement best practices for analytics governance, reporting standards, and BI architecture.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Improve reporting delivery processes and drive operational efficiencies within the BI team.

Support enterprise-wide self-service analytics initiatives.

Mentor and guide BI developers, analysts, and data professionals.
-
Contribute to the definition of data and analytics roadmaps aligned to business objectives.

Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and compliance across reporting solutions.

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)

Microsoft Certified Data Engineering qualification (DP-203, Fabric Data Engineer, or equivalent)
Experience Required

7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, or Data Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.

Proven experience leading or contributing significantly to a Power BI transformation or modernisation initiative.

Experience delivering enterprise-scale dashboards and reporting solutions.
-
Strong stakeholder engagement experience, including executive-level interactions.

Experience mentoring junior team members and driving BI best practices.
-
Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, or other large enterprise environments is highly advantageous.
