What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to recipes and service standards.
- Participate in opening and closing stock takes, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Restock bar supplies and communicate any stock shortages to the Head Barman.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
What You’ll Need
· Grade 12/ Equivalent (advantageous).
· Able and physically fit (required).
· A clear criminal and credit record (required).
· Experience as a barman in a fast-paced bar environment.
· Knowledge of beverage preparation and stock management.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and provide high-quality service.
· Understanding of responsible alcohol service and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum two (2) years experience in a fast-paced bar environment.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
· Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices.
· Strong team player, willing to support various tasks in the kitchen.
